We do this through extensive training, cutting-edge technology, and most importantly, a team commitment to providing the very best experience possible for both you and your child.

 

We value the confidence you place in us and we know that your time is valuable. Our office works diligently to be on time for every child’s appointment. However, there are occasions when emergencies arise and we will need to accommodate a child who has been injured or had an accident. Please accept our apologies ahead of time should such a delay occur during your child's scheduled appointment, and we hope you understand that we will do exactly the same if your child is ever in need of emergency care

Making Your Appointments

To schedule an appointment with our doctors, please give our team a call at 415-668-3500 or use our online appointment request form. If your child has an urgent problem or dental trauma, be sure to indicate that to our team by PHONE only. If you need to schedule a periodic oral examination and cleaning, please be sure call the office 2-4 weeks in advance so we can fit conveniently into your schedule.

 

We have found that children who require a lot of treatment or who are of preschool age have the best experience with us when scheduled early in the day. We have found that younger children are better able to cooperate earlier in their day and that older children who need extensive dental work may needlessly worry throughout the day about their appointment if it is later or after school. Thus, we have reserved time in the morning especially for them.

 

Some appointments may require the child to miss school, however, these are considered excused absences. With continued care, periodic preventive appointments can be scheduled around school hours. For the convenience of our middle school and high school patients, we offer early morning, late afternoon, and Saturday appointments.

Canceling Appointments

We plan our schedule weeks and months in advance in order to best serve you and your child. Your appointment time has been reserved especially for you and we ask that all patients keep their appointments, arriving on time and prepared for an excellent experience with us.

  • Should any scheduling changes be required, we require at least 24 hours advance notice to avoid a $30 cancellation fee for an exam or cleaning appointment or a $60 fee for a treatment appointment.
  • We ask that if you must cancel your child’s appointment, please call us as soon as possible.
  • We are pleased to offer special Saturday appointments, and because of the effort involved to offer these dates, we require a one week cancellation notice (you must contact us on the Monday prior to your scheduled appointment).

Courtesy Reminders

We consider your appointment time to be confirmed with us when appointments are made, whether over the phone, via email, or in person. As a courtesy to our patients, we will remind you of your child’s upcoming visit through the method of your choice, including: phone message, postcard, text message, or email. However, you remain responsible for showing up at the prearranged time.

Registration and Check-In

Upon arrival for each appointment, please present our front desk receptionist with a copy of your current dental insurance card and co-pay when applicable for Delta Premier Plan.

 

Please inform our team member if there have been any changes in your home address, phone number, insurance coverage, or your preferred contact method. This ensures that your file is always kept up to date, and that we always have current billing information.

 

Please know that we cannot bill your insurance company unless you give us your full insurance information, including name, subscriber identification number/SSN, group number, employer, and insurance carrier name.

 

We welcome new patients and have made our new patient forms available right here on our website, either as interactive forms or PDF's for download. Please complete the online registration process in anticipation of your first visit with us.
